We offer same-day flower delivery across Melbourne and express postal shipping Australia-wide. Flowers are handcrafted in our Brooklyn, VIC studio near Melbourne CBD and delivered by our drivers.

Same-Day Flower Delivery

Same-day delivery is available Monday to Friday for orders placed before 5:00 pm and on Saturday for orders placed before 3:00 pm. Deliveries are not available on Sundays and Victorian public holidays except Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day.
Almost all Melbourne orders are dispatched from Brooklyn, with drivers following routes based on distance from the CBD. This means that suburbs closer to the city receive their flowers earlier, while those farther away may receive them later in the afternoon.

How Our Delivery Works

Florists begin orders at 8:00 am every day. Each is made fresh for optimal arrival.
Drivers depart in batches throughout the day:
  • Morning drivers: depart around 10:00–11:00 am
  • Afternoon drivers: depart around 1:00–2:00 pm
  • Evening drivers: depart around 5:00 pm
Workplace deliveries must be placed before 1:00 pm, as most offices close by 5:00 pm and schools by 3:00–4:00 pm.
80% of all deliveries occur between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm, depending on distance and traffic.

Priority & Timed Deliveries

Need flowers to arrive by a specific time?
Priority Delivery places your order at the top of our list for preparation and delivery.
  • Priority orders are delivered only through Go People’s VIP drivers, Uber, or DiDi, as single or grouped priority deliveries.
  • Our florists prepare priority orders first and dispatch with the earliest available driver.
  • We will deliver within 15 minutes of the requested time.
  • Please order at least 1-2 hours before the desired delivery time.
  • Additional fees will apply based on the delivery zone (see table above).
Regular same-day deliveries are made as early as possible. Specific times are not guaranteed without Priority Delivery.

Postal Delivery Information

  • Native flowers, gift boxes, and small plants are suitable for postal delivery.
  • Fresh daily flowers, cakes, and large plants (over 1 m) cannot be shipped by post.
  • If an item can’t be shipped safely, we’ll contact you to arrange a substitute or a refund.
  • Postal orders are sent 1–2 days before the selected date.
  • Australia Post delivers Monday–Friday (no weekends or holidays).
  • Tracking numbers are provided once dispatched.
  • We cannot guarantee exact delivery dates due to possible courier delays, including weather or service disruptions.

Packaging & Tracking Updates

Each bouquet is wrapped with a hydration pack to ensure freshness.
Melbourne metro orders use Go People tracking, letting you see:
  • Real-time driver location
  • Estimated time of arrival
  • Delivery photo once the delivery is completed
Postal deliveries include tracking numbers (not real-time).

Safe Delivery & Authority to Leave (ATL)

All our deliveries are made with Authority to Leave (ATL) as the default option, meaning our driver will leave your flowers in a safe and shaded location at the address provided. If you prefer the flowers to be handed to the recipient in person, please include this clearly in your delivery instructions at the cart page(e.g., “Please deliver to the recipient in person”).
Each delivery includes a proof-of-delivery photo, so you can rest assured your order has arrived safely.
Cases of lost or stolen deliveries are extremely rare—less than 0.01% in the past 12 months.
If such a situation ever occurs, we will organise a complimentary redelivery of the same or equivalent arrangement to the recipient — usually with the next available driver (on the same day if possible, or the next business day).

We support Victorian growers and use local blooms when possible.
We avoid single-use plastics when possible.

Important Notes

  • 85% deliveries are made Monday–Saturday, 10 am–8 pm.
  • No delivery on Sundays or public holidays except Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day.
  • During peak occasions such as Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, delivery times may extend later into the evening. While most orders are still delivered between 10 am and 8 pm, some same-day orders may arrive as late as 9:30 pm due to exceptionally high demand.

Shipping & Delivery FAQs

Q: What time will my flowers be delivered?

Deliveries start from 10 am, beginning with the suburbs closest to Melbourne CBD. Most same-day orders arrive between 10 am and 8 pm, depending on distance and traffic.

Q: Can I request a specific delivery time?

Yes. Choose "Priority Delivery" at checkout and include your preferred time in the notes. We’ll arrange a VIP driver to deliver within ±15 minutes of that time.

Q: Do you deliver to hospitals, schools, or businesses?

Yes, we do. Please order before 1 pm for same-day delivery to workplaces. Our driver will arrive before 3 pm for schools and before 5 pm for all other workplaces. Since most hospitals usually have visitor restrictions, orders for hospital patients will be delivered to the ward's reception.

Q: What happens if no one is home?

If no one is home, our driver will safely place the flowers by the door in a shaded area or at a designated safe spot. For apartments, drivers will first try to contact the resident or building reception via intercom or phone. If no one answers, they may contact some neighbours for access and leave the flowers at the apartment door or near the internal mailbox. Every delivery includes a photo confirmation, providing peace of mind that your order has arrived.

Q: How can I track my delivery?

For our own delivery area, a live Go People tracking link will be sent to your phone and email once the driver departs. Postal orders will receive a tracking number from Australia Post or StarTrack.

Q: I haven’t received my tracking link. What should I do?

The tracking link will be sent when drivers pick up all deliveries. If you didn't receive the link, please contact us via live chat, email(info@thelittlemarketbunch.com.au), or call +61 452 554 811. We’ll check the delivery status for you within minutes.

Q: Do you deliver to rural or interstate areas?

Yes! We ship Australia-wide through Australia Post Express and StarTrack for native flowers and gift boxes. Delivery usually takes 1–5 business days.

Q: What if I provide the wrong address, or my order can’t be delivered?

Please send the order number and new delivery details via online chat, email (info@thelittlemarketbunch.com.au) or SMS (+61 452 554 811) before you receive the tracking link. We will update that for you ASAP. For unsuccessful deliveries, if the mistake is ours, we’ll resend a new bouquet for free. If the address was incorrect or does not exist, a redelivery fee will apply.

Q: Do you deliver outside of Melbourne?

Yes, our partner network covers over 90% of Australia. For same-day service, please order before 2 pm (Mon–Fri) or 10 am (Sat). If postal delivery is needed, native flowers are used to ensure freshness on arrival. And it will arrive within 3 business days.

Q: Are there any areas you can’t deliver to?

We’re unable to deliver to PO boxes, it is just for authorised couriers, and we’re closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Q: What if my flowers arrive damaged or late?

If something isn’t right, please email us at info@thelittlemarketbunch.com.au with photos within 24 hours. We’ll arrange a replacement or re-delivery in line with our Refund Policy.

Q: What if my flowers are stolen after being left outside?

Such incidents are very uncommon — less than 0.01% of all our annual deliveries. However, if this does happen, please contact us immediately with your order number. We’ll verify the situation and arrange a one-time complimentary redelivery of the same or equivalent bouquet using the next available driver.
