The Crassula ovata or Money Tree is a gorgeous evergreen succulent, which is one of the most popular indoor plant varieties. In many cultures, the Jade plant is considered to bring exceeding good luck and prosperity, and the thick, fleshy, shiny oval leaves do seem to lend themselves to an 'abundant' kind of personality. The foliage ranges in color from dark, jade green in the shade, to reddish tones when exposed to more sunlight.
